I've been away for awhile...

I want to apologize at my absence. Seeing as my last post was almost 2 years ago! I have had quite a few drastic life changes happen to me during this time. I am no longer with my Knyght. It seems he was not meant to be. He chose a different path leaving the children and I. It was best. I wasn’t really happy with him. I struggled for a year and a half with this. I feel I am over it and is much stronger. I still have alot to look forward to in my future. I now have a job as a School Age teacher, I am attending college classes again, and got a new car. I also have been taking care of myself more. I have been on a diet and lost 30 lbs. I feel much better about myself. I still struggle with seeing my beauty, but I hope to change that through time. I see beauty in everyone and I shouldn’t downgrade myself anymore.
Currently, I am taking a Digital Photography class. I decided that even though I am self taught I would like to take a class to see if there was anything I had missed. So far I am taught things I already knew. I do, however, enjoy the assignments. My latest assignment is to take photos of rural landscapes. I have had much fun with this. It is one of my favorite areas to do in photography. I now have the opportunity to get out of the house and travel through my area to find great landscapes!
One of my assignments is to visit the St. Louis Art Fair. If anyone is attending I hope to see you there. I will not be putting any artwork up but perhaps in the future that will be an option. It is free admission so that’s a plus. You only have to worry about parking.
I hope to continue posting my art as well as others in the future. I have found many great artists and is anxious to display them on my blog. If you want to send me links to your portfolios I would love to check out your artworks. As for now I want to feature my dear friend Kyle Paul’s artwork. He is a man of many talents and I adore his work. Here are a few of my favorites:

No Emotions...

I thought I might as well start featuring great artists I admire. I have always gain inspiration watching these great artists on DeviantART. Why not share with everyone :)

So my last blog was of Alex London Designs who I just recently discovered. I suggest you check my last blog to see their beautiful photos.

Now I would like to introduce Rebeca Saray. She resides in Madrid. I have been watching her since I started DeviantART back in 2006 and fell in love with her makeup portraits. Through the years of watching she's went through many stages:  from makeup to retouching to digital art to cinema etc...

She also has a website so check it out too.

Here are her latest uploads on DA that I loved:

I wish I had better lighting...

I tend to have inspiration when it is late at night so all I have is my table lamp :) I also used a Nikon D7000 with this photo, but I had to take it back since I was only testing it out. I actually liked it alot. I still love you Canon!

A Handy Resource Site...

I am always learning new techniques with photography and here's a website I am always learning from:

Photographytalk

You should check it out. Go on. You may find something you could never find anywhere else ;)

Another blog...

I decided to go through with blogger. I thought it was worth testing out.

Here is my latest work:

I Was Never Your Angel

Makeup design by Cherie Alexander.

This was just a simple photo I did. I have gone through some tough months and had to try and bring back some inspiration. I was to the point of not caring about anything, but after family and really good friends I have fought past the emotions and found myself back on my feet. I thank them all their support. I love you all!

Black and white version:

I couldn't pick which one I liked better so why not post both :P Let me know which one you like.
